Why one payment

EasyUnZip does one job. A tool that does one job should not send an invoice every month for the rest of your life, and a subscription would make us spend our time inventing reasons to keep charging you rather than making the extraction faster.

$3 is roughly what the certificate would cost per customer if we bought one, which is the trade this price actually makes: no code-signing certificate, a published checksum instead, and a price that does not need a finance department to approve. Future versions are included - there is no paid upgrade waiting.

What it does not cost

• Nothing recurring. There is no renewal date and no card kept on file.
• No account. You never make one, on the site or in the app - the key arrives by email and you paste it into the panel.
• No upsell. There is one edition. Every feature on this site is in the one you download.
• No advertising, and nothing bundled with the installer.

Trial, then key

The trial is 14 days from first run, with everything working and no card asked for. When it ends the app stops extracting until a key is entered; nothing you already extracted is affected, because those are ordinary files in ordinary folders.

A key activates up to 3 PCs. Replacing a machine is not a new purchase: open Settings on the old PC and press Deactivate this PC to free the slot.

Payment and refunds

Payment is handled by Paddle, who are the merchant of record and handle the tax. We never see your card. The price shown is $3 USD; local sales tax may be added at the checkout depending on where you are.

If it does not do what this site says it does, ask for your money back within 30 days of buying and you get it in full; the refunded key stops working. Ask through the support form. The wording is in the refund section of the terms.
